Good morning everyone and welcome to another week! As we head into May I wanted to reiterate something that was shared with families this weekend, our last day for new assignments will be May 14th, after that until the 20th you will have the opportunity to catch up anything you're missing, wrap up any active assignments and finalize any quizzes we have assigned!
Another thing that was shared was your time to come and pick up the contents of your lockers. Teachers will be going in this week to clean lockers out and bag up contents for you, and then on May 19th 7th grade will have the chance to swing by the school, drop off any materials you have that need to be returned (like library books) and pick up your locker materials. Check Mr. Nelson's emails and the Pine Mountain page for details about specific times and feel free to have your parents email me with any questions!
Learning Target: I can determine a theme and/or central idea of a text and analyze its development over the course of the text by reading chapter 9 and identifying a quote that connects to one of the themes.
Work Session: Read Chapter 9 of The Outsiders and copy down a quote and identify how it connects to one of our themes. Post on Edmodo.
